The Club at Kukui’ula is seeking a skilled Assistant Superintendent to join our golf maintenance team. This position will provide support and report to the Golf Course Superintendent. This role requires a team player willing to work with another Assistant Superintendent in overseeing the maintenance and conditioning of our premier golf course, contributing to the highest standards of playability and aesthetics. The Assistant Superintendent oversees and contributes to fertilizer, irrigation and pesticide applications. Inspect all components of the golf course to ensure compliance with established maintenance standards. Communicates course conditions and equipment issues to the superintendent.

The ideal candidate will possess:
*Two-year college degree in Turf Management, Agronomy, or related field.
*Positive attitude and willingness to learn.
*Valid Driver’s license and pesticide applicator’s license (or ability to obtain within 6 months of hire).
*Experience with chemical applications, irrigation repair/troubleshooting and knowledge of turf equipment.
*Hands-on experience in golf course maintenance.
*Experience at a private or high-end course.
*Experience with warm weather turf grasses, particularly seashore paspalum.
*Experience working in a multi-cultural environment.
*Flexibility in scheduling, including weekend, holiday, and extended hours.
*Relentless attention to detail, passion for high-end golf, and delivering on world-class experiences.
*Ability to meet physical demands of the position including, but not limited to working in all weather conditions, walking/standing longer than (8) hours, and lifting/carrying items sometimes greater than fifty pounds.

Salary: $75,000 – $85,000 Benefits: Medical, Dental, Vision Insurance, Life Insurance, Short Term Disability, 401K with employer contribution, Paid time off, Sick time, Meals provided while on Job, Uniform, Paid National/Local Association Dues.
